Registration for 5-Years Extended Warranty for Airend by Customer


As the owner of an Ingersoll Rand air compressor, you have made a critical investment for your company. Ingersoll Rand can help you get the most out of your valuable investment with 5-Years Extended Warranty for Airend without any additional fee.

  1. General
    1. The Terms and Conditions outlined herein shall apply to the 5-Years Warranty for Airend provided by Ingersoll Rand.  No additional or contrary terms shall be binding upon Ingersoll Rand unless agreed to in writing. User shall agree to all terms stated in this agreement before registering for the extended warranty.
    2. Once you have read and accepted all terms in this agreement, click “Accept” to proceed to the online Registration form.
  2. Eligibility and Parts Covered
    1. All brand new Ingersoll Rand rotary screw air compressors within 4kW to 160kW range, Single Stage, Contact Cooled (Oil injected) sold from this very day.
    2. The parts covered in 5-Years Extended Warranty include Rotor Assemblies, Airend Bearings, Airend Housing and Gearset.
    3. For countries served by Ingersoll Rand Asia Pacific region only.
  3. Validity Period
    1. For a period of 5 years from the date of equipment shipment start-up or 25,000 running hours, whichever comes first, inclusive of the 1st year standard warranty.
  4. Warranty Conditions
    1. Compressors must be installed in a clean, dry and non-corrosive environment. Site Air Quality is categorized by both the particulate and chemical conditions in the ambient air surrounding the compressor system, as well as the air where the compressor intake will be located. Ingersoll Rand reserves the right to verify these parameters using silver and copper air quality coupon testing, analysis of the compressor condensate and other particulate measurement methods.  In order to qualify for a “Clean” rating, the site must show excellent results in the testing listed above.
    2. Installation requirements stipulated in the Equipment’s Operating and Maintenance Manual must be strictly adhered to.
    3. Routine Maintenance has to be performed in accordance with an Ingersoll Rand Maintenance Schedule specific to the Equipment.
    4. 100% use of Genuine Ingersoll Rand Parts and Lubricants.
    5. Proof of purchase from Ingersoll Rand or its authorized distributors of the correct quantity of genuine Ingersoll Rand Parts and Lubricants that should meet the Maintenance requirement and at the correct service intervals of the equipment during the coverage period.
    6. Equipment has to be registered online www.ingersollrandproducts.com within 60 days from date of start-up (commissioning).
  5. Warranty Application
    1. Contact your local Ingersoll Rand representatives or its Authorized Dealer for warranty service.
    2. Ingersoll Rand will provide, as its discretion, necessary repairs or replacement to your airend during the extended warranty period.
    3. Valid documents or copies of Ingersoll Rand genuine parts purchases either from date of new unit commissioning or over last 2 years period must be provided. These parts should be purchased from Ingersoll Rand representatives or its authorized dealers.
  6. Exclusions
  7. If any of the following conditions occurs, Ingersoll Rand shall have the right to terminate provision of 5-Years Warranty for Airend at any moment without prior notice:

    1. Invalid or inaccurate information provided during registration.
    2. Failure to meet the conditions stipulated in Clause 4 of this agreement.
    3. Failure arises from maintenance or repairs by non Ingersoll Rand representatives or authorized distributors or use of non-genuine Ingersoll Rand parts by customer.
    4. Abuse, misuse, negligent repairs, failure or fluctuation of electrical power, corrosion, erosion, normal wear and tear, alterations and modifications made to the product without express written consent from Ingersoll Rand, or failure to follow the recommended operating practices, services and maintenance procedures as provided in the equipment’s operating and maintenance manual.
    5. Strikes, riots, vandalism, acts of war, nuclear disaster, or natural causes such as fire, flood, water, wind, earthquake or other Acts of God.
  8. Liability
    1. Ingersoll Rand shall not be liable for any loss of profit, loss of production, loss of income or contract, loss of goodwill, or for indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind whatsoever.
