Man Rider™ - Onshore Winch Series

The current design of Force 5i Man Rider™ air winches has been extended to meet the requirements of the American National Standard, ANSI / ASME A10.22-2007 for “Rope-Guided and Nonguided Worker’s Hoists - Safety Requirements.”

When incorporated as defined, these winches are suitable for lifting and lowering peiple. They also rated for lifting material without people. Meet OSHA and come with third party type approval.

  • Meets ANSI/ASME A10.22-2007

    This specification is titled, "Rope-guided and Non-guided Worker's Hoists - Safety Requirements". Ingersoll Rand engineers have interpteted the requirements and a third party, the American Bureau of Shipping, ABS, has certified them with a Type Approval. You are assured quality, dependibilty and conformity.

    It is imperative that users recognize that the winch is only a part of the lifting system. The Standard defines what else is required and is freely provided.

    ANSI Man Riders™ come with a battery powered, line speed indicator, battery charger enclosure, dual brakes, limit switches, exhaust manifold with piped away exhaust kit, owner's manual and a copy of the ANSI Standard, and a test certificate verifying performance.
