The Extended Angle Air Grinders are designed for material removal in hard to reach places using carbide burr/mounted wheels, Type 1 wheels, or Type 27 and 28 depressed center wheels. For consistent quality and performance, Angle Grinders are great for removing parting lines, fins and small risers from casting, and smoothing and blending welded areas.
An extended angle grinder with a collet is ideal for weld grinding and blending, light deburring and finishing, and light to medium pressure grinding for use on contours or flat surfaces
You can also configure your tool for a Type 1 wheel to cut in hard to reach places. Use the Type 27 & 28 depressed center wheel for grinding, weldment removal, and general surface preparation.
Choose tools with enough horsepower to drive the abrasive material you are using, and allow the grinder’s speed to work for you. Only use recommended equipment and adaptors. Inspect grinding wheels closely for any imperfections, damage or broken edges. Use correct size guards, flanges, blotters, spindles and mounting practices to ensure operator safety.
