The ARO Fluid Technologies business of Ingersoll Rand Industrial Technologies has released a UV ink pump and package that, after years of field tests and in-lab refinement, is finally putting an end to manual formulation and transfer of high viscosity UV inks.

For over three years, ARO application and design professionals have been collaborating with several of the largest ink manufacturers in the world to provide a reliable solution for transferring medium- to high-viscosity UV inks. Extensive R&D has produced a piston pump package designed specifically to keep shear and thermal energy at a minimum allowing for the successful transfer of cure-sensitive UV materials.
