Vignate, Italy - July 27, 2009 - Ingersoll Rand launches new Fabricated Filters produced in the new Ingersoll Rand facility in Logatec, Slovenia.
During the second week of June 2009, new Ingersoll Rand Fabricated Filters were launched. In the same week, the company was able to book an order for three filters. This order was achieved mainly because Ingersoll Rand's new factory was able to provide flanges with a different standard (ASA) than the ones they had from their previous external supplier. The company's new factory specialized in filtration allows Ingersoll Rand to offer a wider range of filters and to satisfy their customer's in a better way.
In addition to this first order, they sold more than double of their usual sales since they launched the new filters.
The new filters cover a flow capacity from 770 m3/hr to 31000 m3/hr. They replace the filter models IR424 to IR16527.
