On June 11, industrial radio station Industrialinfo.com Radio broadcast a 30-minute live segment that featured Ingersoll Rand's Productivity Solutions division. Airing both online and on terrestrial radio stations in U.S. markets including Houston and Philadelphia, the Ingersoll Rand interview was conducted for Industrialinfo.com Radios weekly "Industry Today" segment that features a live discussion with industry leaders and executives from within the industrial markets.
Mike Medaska, General Manager, Fluid Technologies, Industrial Technologies sector, spoke on behalf of the company. Medaska discussed Ingersoll Rand's history and some organizational and financial background before providing a detailed overview of the product and service capabilities of each of the three business units within the Productivity Solutions division: Tools, Material Handling, and Fluid Technologies. Specifics on product customization, services, and technology development were also covered.
Jessica Nangel, Sales Lead Analyst for Industrial Technologies, coordinated the appearance. "Internet radio is a unique media through which to advertise Ingersoll Rand's broad capabilities," said Nangel. "We seized the opportunity to promote the Productivity Solutions business and the Ingersoll Rand brand to a targeted audience of industrial professionals." Nangel said 1,598 streams were launched on the day of this broadcast, well above the radio shows daily average of 1,250 streams.
The radio segment was made possible through a contract with market research firm Industrial Information Resources (IIR).
