Ingersoll Rand wins 2010 World Frost & Sullivan Award for Customer Value Enhancement – Oil-free compressor market



            Davidson, NC — April 8, 2010 (NYSE:IR)  -- Ingersoll Rand has been awarded the 2010 World Frost & Sullivan Award for Customer Value Enhancement in the rotary, oil-free compressor market.  Frost & Sullivan presents this award to the company that has demonstrated excellence in implementing strategies that proactively create value for its customers with a focus on improving the return on the investment that customers make in its services or products.  Ingersoll Rand’s oil-free compressors, certified to ISO 8573.1 Class 0, are designed with industry leading features targeted at increasing energy efficiency.
