Ingersoll Rand Settles Suit with Warren Rupp
February 7, 2011– Ingersoll Rand, a world leader in creating and sustaining safe, comfortable and efficient environments, and Warren Rupp, Inc., formerly known as IDEX AODD, Inc., have agreed to settle the pending patent infringement lawsuit between the parties on mutually agreeable terms.
Complete details of the settlement were not disclosed but as part of the settlement Warren Rupp has taken a license from Ingersoll Rand to U.S. Patent Nos. 5,584,666 and 6,722,256. The patents pertain to technology developed by Ingersoll Rand’s ARO Fluid Products business, a global leader in positive displacement pumps for the chemical processing, water treatment, energy, printing and other industrial markets.
