#88 Cole Whitt ready to test his Luck in Vegas

Tony Eury Sr., crew chief No. 88 team

“There are some big bumps through the corners.  Getting the car to drive through them is important because it affects the handling.  We did a mock qualifying run in the first session and looked alright. We slapped the wall a bit toward the end of the second.  We were running tight and it looked like Cole got into the marbles a bit and scraped the wall pretty good.  We’ll work on it tonight.”

Tony Eury Jr., crew chief No. 7 team

“We did some work with the springs, shocks and sway bar during these two practices.  We were pushing a little through the center of the corner and on initial throttle.  We went the opposite way in second practice and went from tight to loose.  You’ve got to have good rotation in the car, so she can get down to the white line in the corners.”
