Ingersoll Rand has completed an expansion of its pump production capacity at its manufacturing facility in Sahibabad, India. The expansion expands its current pump production capability to include ARO Pro & EXP Series air-operated diaphragm pumps.
“The India positive displacement pump market is enjoying above average growth rates driven by investments in industrial and process market segments,” said Oakley Roberts, director of ARO fluid products at Ingersoll Rand. “What we’ve done with the diaphragm pump expansion in Sahibabad is just the first in a series of investments in personnel, product development, facility expansion and brand development. We have an outstanding team in India with a track record of successful execution and I am excited about our future in the region.”
“With increased production capacity, we are able to better meet the needs of our local customers,” said Amar Kaul, vice president and general manager for Ingersoll Rand India. “This investment also underscores the importance of the Indian market for Ingersoll Rand and demonstrates its long term commitment for providing world class products to customers.”
ARO’s air-operated diaphragm pumps deliver reliable and energy-efficient operation. Featuring patented Simul-Shift and Quick Dump air valve technology, EXP pumps reduce air consumption, eliminate pump stalling and prevent ice accumulation. These features reduce production downtime, improve process efficiency and provide the lowest total cost of ownership in the industry, the company said.
