ANNANDALE, N.J. — Ingersoll-Rand Productivity Solutions and its agency Two Rivers Marketing of Des Moines, Iowa, have been selected for recognition at the annual Central Iowa ADDY awards. The creative competition is sponsored by the Advertising Professionals of Des Moines, and is the first of a three-tiered national competition.
Vehicle Services, a division of Ingersoll-Rand Productivity Solutions received a silver award in the Consumer Magazine division for their “Cold Dead Hands” four-color ad campaign and, in the Sales Promotion division for their “Mr. Wilson” audio / visual sales presentation. Both award-winning pieces initiated significant product launches last year for the new 232TGTi ThunderGun, 2575K cordless drill, 2512K cordless impact wrench, and the 1215Ti flathead ratchet. Materials submitted for the competition covered the 2004 calendar year, and entries were judged by creative professionals from across the country.

The ADDY awards are the largest and most representative competition in the advertising industry, recognizing creative excellence in the art of advertising. Approximately 60,000 entries are submitted every year in local ADDY competitions across the country.
