ANNANDALE, N.J. — The Ingersoll-Rand Productivity Solutions team is proud to announce the 2512K cordless impact wrench was one of five products recently selected to receive an Innovation Award presented by Professional Tool & Equipment News in April.
The Innovation Award recognizes new and innovative products end-users feel can save time, increase safety, or make a particular job or service easier to perform. Professional Tool & Equipment News enlisted the help of 12 ASE-certified master technicians and shop owners to spotlight the best tools and equipment in automotive repair. The selection process is based solely on frontline-tested observations, thoughts, and opinions of the ASE-certified master technicians, and without the input of advertisers or magazine staff.
The new 2512K impact wrench features an Ingersoll-Rand designed performance-tuned twin cam mechanism, 3,000 impacts per minute and 150 ft-lb of maximum torque to handle a variety of jobs. The 2512K also features an ergonomically designed, textured grip for maximum operator comfort.
The new cordless impact is one of a number of new Ingersoll-Rand tools and accessories for the auto service industry, including a cordless drill, ASME-certified self-evacuating oil caddy, and the new nitrogen tire filling system.
