Annandale, New Jersey – Ingersoll-Rand Productivity Solutions introduces the latest addition to their line of Diaphragm Pumps, the ProSeries ™ Diaphragm pump, to China.
Constructed of Aluminum (future models will include stainless steel and cast iron), and available in both 1” and 1½” ports, the ProSeries ™ features a patented “unbalanced” air valve which makes the pumps “unstallable.” Additional benefits of the “unbalanced” air valve include; elimination of shifting problems, use of less power to run than competition, does not require lubrication, and forgiving in dirty air.
“We have noticed that the ProSeries ™ has become the industry standard for general industrial applications,” said Gordon Schroeder, Ingersoll-Rand global marketing manager. “The feedback we have received regarding this product has been extremely positive. Due to its unique design, the ProSeries™ does not use rotating, or sliding seals, making it ideal for abrasion and solids handling.”
Added features will include the offering of a wide variety of materials, positive priming, and bolted construction.
The variety of materials will allow for the choice of the best possible wetted and non-wetted materials suited to each individual’s application; while the positive priming will provide instant start-ups. The instant start-ups are possible because of the proximity of the check valves to the diaphragm chambers.
ProSeries ™ diaphragm pumps feature bolted construction to avoid the proven problems created by clampband type pump fasteners. These include material spills and leaks, bolt loosening and breakage due to poor joint integrity, and difficult reassembly.
ProSeries ™ diaphragm pumps are backed by a generous one year warranty on materials and workmanship for you purchasing peace of mind.
