Davidson, NC, September 5, 2017 — Ingersoll Rand®, a world leader in creating comfortable, sustainable and efficient environments, announced today that it has acquired the compressor business assets of Trask Decrow Machinery (TDM) in Portland, Maine.
“Trask Decrow has been an Ingersoll Rand distributor since 1983,” said Scott Krull, vice president of global commercial operations for Compressor Technologies and Services business of Ingersoll Rand. “The acquisition strengthens our ability to serve our customers in the Northeast, in particular in Maine and parts of New Hampshire. It also furthers our approach of serving our customers in all our territories through a network of company owned customer centers and independent distributors.”
Eleven professionals from Trask Decrow are now part of Ingersoll Rand. Trask Decrow will maintain its non-plant air portion of its business, which includes industrial pump, process air and vacuum, breathing air, and diesel utility equipment business, and will share the same location with Ingersoll Rand in Portland, Maine.
